  1. Education Sabbath: Join us for a special Education Sabbath on October 18, presented by Redding Adventist Academy! The students will be leading out in much of the service, including special music, children’s story, scripture reading, and the sermon/story. Come and be blessed as they share their talents and faith with our church family.

  2. Women’s Breakfast: Ladies, come enjoy breakfast and fellowship at Corbett’s Restaurant on Pine St., Sunday, October 19.

  3. Fall Festival – Sunday, October 19: Join us for Redding Adventist Academy’s Fall Festival from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.! Admission is free, and everyone is welcome. Enjoy games, food for purchase, and lots of fun! New this year: A silent auction featuring themed baskets from each classroom, as well as other donated items. We are looking for volunteers or donors to:

    ·         Create a basket to donate for auction

    ·         Donate a specific item to contribute to a basket

    ·         Donate a large item to be a stand-alone auction item

    Special treat: Corn Dogs! Pre-sale orders will be available—more details to come.

  4. Bread of Life Donations: It’s that time of year again! Bread of Life is in need of donations of jackets, blankets, backpacks, tarps, tents, and rain ponchos. They are also looking for another refrigerator, if you have one available please contact Janet at (530) 209-3461. Currently, no more egg cartons are needed. Thank you for your continued generosity and support!

  5. Mark Your Calendar – All About Jesus Seminar
    November 7–15 with Gary Venden

    Discover the heart of the Christian life—a personal relationship with Jesus.

    ·         Weekdays: Dinner at 5:00 p.m., Seminar at 6:30 p.m.

    ·         Saturdays: 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. with potluck lunches.

    Thank you to everyone who contributed to the All About Jesus Seminar fund! Your generosity made it possible to cover all the expenses for the event. No additional donations are needed.

    Child care will be provided
     

  6. Community Christmas Party: Join us for the annual Community Christmas Party at Bread of Life on Sunday, December 7, at 3:00 p.m. at the East Cypress Community Center. Space is limited, so sign up soon to volunteer!

  7. The Veggie Food Store is looking for someone to open the store for an hour or two a week. Leave a message at 530-440-4200.

  8. Liberty magazines are available for you to take home! Be sure to pick up a copy from the lobby or the tables near the exits. This inspiring publication offers valuable insights on religious freedom and current events. Take one for yourself and share with a friend!

  9. Weekly Word: If you’d like to receive our weekly newsletter, The Weekly Word, simply sign up using the communication cards located at the back of the pews. You can also call or text the church office at (530) 547-4777. The Weekly Word is sent out by email only.

  10. Revelation 101 DVDs: If you missed the seminar and would like to check out the DVDs, please contact Pastor Glenn. 

  11. Blank Cards are available in the lobby. If you know of a sick or grieving church member, please send them a card to show you care.

  12. Connection Cards can be found in the pews and near the exits. Please fill one out and leave it in a tithe box. If you are a visitor, we would love to connect with you. You can also make prayer requests, transfer requests, and sign up for our weekly online newsletter.
